When I received the plant I took it out of the box and about half the soil stayed in the box. The roots of the plant were showing and some of the leaves were turning brown. It was also very dry. I have replanted it and it is starting to come back.
I think the soil issue was probably due to the handling of the box by UPS.
I think maybe you should consider securing the plants a little better so the soil can not spill out in transit.

It's OK. I am disapointed mine didn't look as full and healthy as the reviews I read. It has several brown spots too. The soil was uneven and had some roots exposed possibly from Shipping I guess. I've had it about a month now and it's lost a few leaves. I repotted it after giving it time to aclimate. Hopefully from this point it will grow beautiful.
